Kindling: A Certain Kind of Sun

Collectively, humanity assigns the brightening of the sky by the rising of the sun as the start of the day. Sometimes, there are lots of clouds between humanity and the sun, but the sky still lightens. No matter what, the sun always rises.

Some days are sunny, some are rainy, some are snowy, and some are windy.

BUT, every once in a while, you wake up to a certain kind of sun in sky. It’s a special kind of sun. It sort of sparkles. It doesn’t just shine, it pours warmth from the heavens. It glints and bounces and skips off every hard surface. It glitters and shimmers and twinkles off every liquid. It magnifies every particle of mist or dust giving the air its own effervescence. These days are pure magic; a sublimation of good released into the atmosphere attempting to turn hearts gold.

May we all know when these kinds of suns shine, may we all appreciate them and may they inspire us all.

Have you ever experienced the magic of a special kind of sunny day?
If so, what happened?
If not, what could happen?
What could happen next time?
